This website serves as a memento of the XSILO exhibition, showcasing art from the fictitious Digitangen Collection, part of the Wastefulness commission art project by Traavik.info in Kristiansand, Norway (2022). These images were part of Norway’s first entirely AI-generated physical exhibition, created by Jørund Føreland Pedersen, and held at Agder Kunstsenter. The exhibition featured 25 curated works, all exploring the theme of Nordic modernism.

Technical information: Though dated now, the majority of the images were made using Stable Diffusion 1.5, at 512x512px. For the exhibition, the images were up-scaled and then professionally reproduced on archival quality paper. The works were signed in blood on the back by Jørund Føreland Pedersen and Morten Traavik. The exhibition was curated by Agnes Repstad, Morten Traavik and Jørund Føreland Pedersen.
